Canadian Female MMA Rankings – December 2013

Jessica Eye vs. Alexis Davis Added to UFC 170

UFC officials announced Monday evening that a bout between bantamweight fighters Jessica Eye and Alexis Davis has been added to UFC 170.

This match-up being added to the growing PPV card which takes place on February 22nd in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jessica Eye (11-1) who just fought Sarah Kaufman in her UFC debut and won by split decision at UFC 166 in October and that win was Jessica’s 8th in a row and is ranked 4th in the world who hails from Cleveland, Ohio.

Alexis Davis (15-5) who is 3-0 in 2013 one with Invicta and 2-0 in the UFC and her latest victory against Liz Carmouche with a Unanimous Decision back in November.

UFC 170 is scheduled to be headlined by women’s bantamweight title fight between titleholder Ronda Rousey and Challenger Sara McMann.

INVICTA FC NAMES WOMEN’S MMA PIONEER JULIE KEDZIE NEW MATCHMAKER

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 16, 2013) – Invicta Fighting Championships has appointed recently retired women’s Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) superstar Julie Kedzie as the new matchmaker for the women’s world championship MMA promotion, it was announced today on an all-new edition of “The MMA Hour” web TV program by award-winning host Ariel Helwani.
