The UFC returns to the The Sunshine State on April 19 for a FOX UFC Saturday event at the Amway Center in Orlando.
Two bouts have been confirmed for the just-announced card: Second-ranked heavyweight contender
Fabricio Werdum will face third-ranked heavyweight contender Travis Browne with the winner likely securing a heavyweight title shot
Plus second-ranked bantamweight
Miesha Tate takes on seventh-ranked Liz Carmouche in a battle of women’s MMA stars.
Tickets for the event are expected to go on sale February 14. More details will be available in coming weeks on www.UFC.com.”

Miesha who is coming off a disaster loss from UFC Bantamweight ChamLiz Carmouchepion Ronda Rousey is looking for her first win of the year against a strong Liz Carmouche good luck to both fighters on their upcoming camps and fight!

Sara McMann vs. Liz Carmouche Slated for Strikeforce: Cormier vs. Mir

Sara McMann will make her Strikeforce debut on Nov. 3 against Liz Carmouche.
According to sources close to the event, McMann and Carmouche have agreed to meet on the Strikeforce: Cormier vs. Mir card, which will take place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, OK. Strikeforce is expected to announce the fight shortly.

Strikeforce Challengers Fight Card: Liz Carmouche – Ready for Sarah Kaufman and Prepared for the Future

Bobby Voelker and Roger Bowling may be headlining tonight’s Strikeforce Challengers event, but all the media attention has been placed on the fight between Liz Carmouche and former 135 champion Sarah Kaufman. Both fighters share an opponent in current champion Marloes Coenen with Liz fairing better throughout the entire match. Unfortunately at this point, it seems that the greater story with Carmouche is that she’s an outed fighter and not so much her skills as a fighter or that she’s only been fighting for just over a year and facing the two best 135 pound fighters in a five month period. I had the pleasure of speaking with Carmouche last week to get her thoughts and a better idea of her overall mood going into the fight.
