#1 Ranked 125-pound fighter Tara LaRosa (18-2-0) will face #4 ranked 135-pound fighter Takayo Hashi in a 125-pound professional five round Championship match, for the Damage Fight League 125-pound women’s Flyweight championship.
Tara LaRosa who is also ranked #3 in the 135-pound division is coming off of her very close decision loss to Roxanne Modafferi in May of this year, before that loss Tara had won 16 fights in a row, including victories over 135-pound ranked opponents, #6 Shayna Bayzler, #7 Roxanne Modafferi, #8 Hitomi Akano, #9 Alexis Davis #17 Julie Kedzie,
Not to mention her victories against 125-pound ranked fighters #7 Sally Krumdiak and #22 Valerie Coolbaugh.
Takayo Hashi has not fought since her decision loss to #2 ranked 135-pound fighter Sarah Kaufman in February. Other fights of note for Takayo Hashi include her win and loss against #8 ranked 135-pound fighter Hitomi Akano with Takayo winning the most recent fight. She also holds a victory over ranked fighters #15 Miki Morifuji. Maybe her most impressive victory though came against Amanda Buckner.
